My practice is centered on treating each client as an individual in need of physical assistance. I use a variety of assessment and evaluation tools to direct my treatments, and a multitude of techniques in order to help ease/decrease and individual's pain and restore proper movement and function.
Individuals that suffer from acute or chronic pain, have had athletic injuries or traumatic accidents (concussion, whiplash, sprain/strain injury, torn muscles, etc), have limitations in joint movement (stiff neck, frozen shoulder, difficulty bending forward) or have repetitive stress injuries or postural limitations.
I offer manual therapy for those seeking pain relief and/or improved movement and function.
My standard session length is 50 minutes, though I do offer 25-minute sessions and all first sessions are a full 60 minutes.
"As a runner and a climber I have accumulated a large number of injuries over the years and Joel has been incredibly skilled at treating and also helping to prevent future injuries time and again. He has a unique understanding of and intuition for the body and what needs to be fixed, but also is honest about when he doesn't think he will be able to help with a problem. He has mastery of a wide number of techniques and employs different ones depending on the situation... I have seen multiple body workers previously and no one even came close to as effective as he has been. In addition to all of this he maintains a very high level of integrity and doesn't try to pressure you into booking extra appointments or services. I truly can't say enough good things about my experience working with Joel over the past 3 years."
